How Are the Plastic Aligners Made to Fit My Mouth?
Our team will measure your mouth and carefully take an exact impression of your teeth. Once taken, we will send it off to a special lab where it will be scanned into a computer and create a series of virtual models. The models show how your teeth are expected to move into alignment and produce a unique series of aligners to achieve your smile goals. Each aligner will need to be worn two weeks in order of the series, so your teeth can gradually move into their intended position.
How to Care for the Aligners?
Taking proper care of Invisalign® aligners is crucial. You can buy a care kit available through Invisalign®, but you can also be sure to rinse them off whenever you remove them. We suggest you gently brush the aligners with warm water and a mild soap or soak them in denture cleaner for an hour or so daily. Invisalign® aligners need to be worn for 20 hours or more per day, so be sure to schedule a time for cleaning.
